• Safety
• Security
• Operational efficiency

The inputs regarding specific features required for mental health care
were provided by mental health professionals and staff which were kept in mind while building was designed by our architects Line and Form.

Built on a 1240 square yard plot, the covered area of the building is about 7000 square feet. The building has basement and 3 floors. The ground coverage is only 20% .

Open spaces

There are open spaces, on all sides of the building with 3 lawns – front,
central and rear. The lawns are being landscaped with grass, trees and other plants since greenery improves psycho-social health. There are plans to add gardening as a day care activity in near future since it is very relaxing.

Marble benches have been provided in the lawns so that the resident members can sit and enjoy fresh air, greenery and sunshine. The front lawn also has a garden swing.

Halfway Home

The halfway home has a capacity of 20 persons. It has 7 multi-bed rooms, with 2/3 persons staying in a room to avoid feeling of isolation and generate feeling of camaraderie. Rooms are well ventilated and have natural light Besides there is a night staff room in the HWH so that help is always available.
